Introduction to Weaving

Explore the tactile nature of textiles with a beginner course in weaving with instructor Annie Croft. Students will work from 8×12-inch looms, utilizing a variety of yarns to create colorful, textured tapestries. Between classes, students will be sent home with supplies to work on their tapestry for finishing at the second session. All supplies are provided. This is a great way to use up yarn and fabric scraps for an artful addition to your home!

This 2-week course will be held from 4-6 pm on Thursday, January 15 & 22, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.

Recommended age: 8 and up

Please note: An active membership is not required to register. Active members receive a 15% discount on classes.
