Rainfall is expected on Mount Lemmon throughout the week. The rain is forecasted to clear by Monday. The rain should leave us with some wonderful flowing water that we will be able to see and hear as we play.
Please note that Marshall Gulch is a flash flood area. Caution is recommended when visiting during the Monsoon Season in the summer months. Paying attention to the forecast and being mindful of signs for possible heavy rain will be helpful. We will cancel the event or move out of the area quickly with the anticipation of rain. In the event of heavy rain, the new motel in the town of Summerhaven called The Mount Lemmon Lodge is a good place to go to for safety until the rain subsides. It is also recommended that caution be exercised when driving up and down the mountain given rainy conditions.
Many people enjoy and occupy the area during the monsoon season in the summer months. I am sharing information so that precautions are taken to help ensure safety and for proper planning.
Thank You!
We look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
Kim Haugen
