A Whole Latte Love is a coffee shop with a catchy slogan: "Where There's Magic in Every Cup." Only it's more than just a tagline. Each one of Isla's six special blends really has a magical power - if only for the duration of the cup. For instance, Fuzz Buster clears the cobwebs and makes you a genius while Chill Pill relieves you of all worries. Cupid's Arrow is a straight-up love potion, and Veritas acts like a truth serum. With "perks" like that, it's no wonder this coffee shop has such loyal customers! But Isla finds herself in hot water with her landlord, who gives her an ultimatum: pay three months of back rent or he'll evict her. Isla hires "perk"-y Shelly to fill in while she ducks out to meet with loan officers. But when an overzealous health inspector flusters Shelly on her first day, she mixes up the coffees, leading to a hilarious "brew"-haha as customers are served the wrong blends. Will Shelly spill the beans about the magic coffee? Will Isla save her shop? And why is the landlord suddenly acting like a five-year-old?
"A Whole Latte Love" is Directed by Amy McCalister, Produced by Josie Fox, and stars Sarah Langston as Isla the coffee shop owner, Jaiden Roby as Shelly the barista, Treena Roby as Paula the flower seller, Anthony Williams as Wendell the mystery writer, John Earle as Dalton, the mystery writer's partner, Debra Petri as Vivian an elderly customer, Sheilah O'Heaney as Edith, Vivian's friend, Nicholas McCalister as Mitchell the arrogant landlord, Brandon Gentry as Brandon the high schooler, Danyka Roby as Kelsey who is another student, Josie Fox as Thelma the gruff health inspector, Jo Roby as Ann the hard-nosed loan officer, and Peter Roby as James the loan officer, with Stage Manager Jennifer Everett.
