This clinic is suited for anyone who is interested in improving their knowledge and skills with 'ground work', both haltered and unhaltered, including the following topics:
* how to begin and build on basic communication, or advance your current level with your horse
* how and what to test before taking off the halter
* how to use a round yard so you can get out of it and play in open spaces
* how to incorporate obstacles for confidence
* how to improve floating
* 'long rein' driving incl introduction of the bit
* patterns to install haltered for liberty testing
* distance and speed with confidence and good 'recall'
* basic tests to build from for connection to riding
2 day clinic on groundskills, with the option of a third day for paired or one on one sessions, which can include riding.
Theory/QnA + practical sessions each day.
Overnight yarding available and onsite camping (small fee to property owner)
Price - $440 for 2 days tuition
Fence sitting - $110 for 2 days
Deposit to secure booking = $110 (non-refundable, can be transferred to fence sitting fee if horse is injured or unwell on the day)
