Join us at the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History for our February History Talk: Firefighter Roundtable, an afternoon dedicated to honoring the brave men who have protected our community through the years.
This special roundtable discussion brings together local firefighters to share firsthand stories, personal experiences, and memorable moments from the front lines. Guests will have the opportunity to hear how firefighting has evolved in Mount Airy, learn about historic calls, and gain insight into the camaraderie and courage that define the fire service.
As part of the program, attendees are invited to walk through our firefighting history exhibit, featuring artifacts, photographs, and equipment that highlight the legacy of local fire departments and the individuals who served.
Whether you’re a history enthusiast, have family ties to the fire service, or simply want to learn more about the heroes in our community, this is a meaningful and engaging event for all ages.
