White Flag Yoga 12 meeting and restorative movement

Join us for our weekly White Flag Yoga 12 Step Recovery Meeting, followed by deeply nourishing yoga+movement practice. Y12SR Combines the somatic approach of yoga, and the cognitive approach of 12-step programs.

The first 45 minutes is very similar to a standard open 12 step meeting where all are welcome. The second 45 muintutes we weave together the topic into our movement practice.

A place where all are welcome, and a place where we actually lead with the cracks and broken parts so that we can honestly address them , bring them to light and move forward. A place where we talk openly about recovery from all the things pulling from Yoga philosophy and the template of the 12 steps for healing and expansion and ultimately freedom!

It is an embodiment practice, fueled by soulful music, with high and low impact elements of Functional movement, Yoga, Somatic Release and Embodiment techniques all in service to soothing and regulating our nervous systems.

• Open to everyone because we assert that everyone is touched by addiction , either personally or by someone we know.

- Kimberly is most inspired by the work of Peter Levine, Vanda Scaravelli, Nikki Myers and Taryn Toomey's "THE CLASS". She pulls from many lineages combining an artful synthesis & therapeutic integration of mindful yoga, somatic experiencing, embodiment, kundalini and TCM methods.

We bring all of us to this practice...🙌🏻
