History of the Mount Clemens Rose Gardens presented by: Lynn Anderson and Micki Weiss
Join the Mount Clemens Historical Commission and the Beautification Commission at the Crocker House Museum and Gardens for a fascinating look back at the history of the Mount Clemens Rose Gardens and the huge role that Japanese-American families, who were taken from internment camps, played during WWII. Lynn Anderson and Micki Weiss will detail the rich history of this historic industry and the prominence of the Weiss Family in it, including their employment of Japanese-American families from the internment camps of World War II.
This event is free to attend, however we will be raising funds and asking for donations. All mnoney raisee will be use to support a rose garden initiative and commemorative plaque that is going to be built in downtown Mount Clemens.
