On Sunday 27th April 2025 the Caboonbah Undenominational Church is again hosting the annual the Bunyip Picnic. – 120 years since the first picnics hosted by Henry Plantagenet Somerset (HP), after whom the Somerset Dam and Somerset Region is named.
This event again includes live music by Aria Cook, a Queensland conservatorium of music student and seasoned performer. Her recent single "Vampire" hit #1 on the global indie artist discovery platform aBreak58! Check her out on social @ariacook_music
There will also be burgers and coffee and drinks available to purchase.
The Church is situated at Mt Beppo – a wonderful 1.5 hour drive from Brisbane either via Kilcoy from the north or Fernvale from the south, or Mt Glorious to the East. Both directions have wonderful roads. Note there is 1 km of gravel road to the church gate.
Picnic and music starting at 11am, or choose to come early for the “Churches working together” service from 10am– 11am inside the historic church. This is a local initiative which fits perfectly with the undenominational nature of this historic building.
