Nature Guardians Summer Course 2025: Summer, Nature, Fun, and Adventure!

Looking for an unforgettable way to spend your summer break? Dive into the Nature Guardians Summer Course 2025! Perfect for children aged 7 to 11, this course combines exciting summer outdoor activities, friendship-building, and hands-on learning, all set in Malta’s stunning nature reserves.

👦👧 Who Can Join?
This exciting opportunity is open to nature-loving children aged 7 to 11. We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 20 participants, to ensure a personalized experience and lots of fun!

📅 Course Duration:
10 sessions full of adventure! 8 sessions will take place at Salina Nature Reserve, while the other 2 will be surprise outings to other environmental organizations. The course runs every Tuesday from 8th July to 16th September, with a break during Santa Marija week (26th August).

⏰ Session Time:
5 PM to 8 PM.

📍 Meeting Point:
Salina Nature Reserve. Transportation will be provided for outing days.

Join us for 10 sessions every Tuesday, starting 8th July 2025 and ending on 16th September 2025.

Session 3: Tuesday, 22nd July 2025, 5 PM–8 PM
Session 4: Tuesday, 29th July 2025, 5 PM–8 PM
Session 5: Tuesday, 5th August 2025, 5 PM–8 PM
Session 6: Tuesday, 12th August 2025, 5 PM–8 PM
Session 7: Tuesday, 19th August 2025, 5 PM–8 PM
Break for Santa Marija: No session on Tuesday, 26th August 2025
Session 8: Tuesday, 2nd September 2025, 5 PM–8 PM
Session 9: Tuesday, 9th September 2025, 5 PM–8 PM
Session 10: Tuesday, 16th September 2025, 5 PM–8 PM


What Will You Learn and Explore?

Guided by our passionate BirdLife Malta staff, Nature Guardians will:

🦅 Explore local bird species, plants, and animals.
🌿 Learn about soil and its importance in the environment.
💧 Dive into the science of water quality and its impact on ecosystems.
🦋 Build insect hotels and discover the vital role of insects in nature.
🌳 Master basic outdoor skills like knot-tying, orienteering, and camping.
🎮 Participate in nature-themed games and challenges that encourage teamwork and creativity.

And so much more, all while creating lasting memories!


Course Fee:

The full fee for the 10-session course is €220, which includes:

8 fun, hands-on sessions at Salina Nature Reserve.
2 surprise outings to environmental organizations.
A Nature Guardians T-shirt with the course logo.
Free regular gatherings after the course to keep your child connected with the Nature Guardians community!
