Mother Nature Day at Simar Nature Reserve

Join us for a special day dedicated to mother nature and all the mothers out there! This family-friendly event highlights the incredible journey of bird mothers and their nesting skills, with fun and educational activities for all ages.

Relate to the mothers' stories that birds can tell you and see how important mothers are for nature!

Activities include:

✅ Meet the Birds: Learn about Simar’s feathered mums and their nesting habits.
✅ Build a Nest: Can you create the perfect home for an egg?
✅ Learn about different eggs.
✅ Enjoy a fun game about feeding the chicks.
✅ Make a Nature Card: Write or draw a special message for your mum.
✅ Birdwatching Challenge: Try to catch a breeder bird on camera!

This event is free and open to all, no registration needed. It’s the perfect opportunity to spend a day outdoors with your family, especially with your beloved mothers, while learning about the vital role of bird mums in nature.

Don't forget to bring your Nature Passport to collect stamps.
