“What art can be seen next to the subtle meditation of a Slough?
We will be walking along to four locations for painting with stones, seaweed, fallen branches and leaves. Up to 4 separate groups will enjoy to create and then share, while the egrets fly overhead taking photos with their eyes.”
Elkhorn Slough, which leads to Moss Landing, is a fascinating place to watch nature and interact with it. We will be entering halfway up at Kirby Park, where there is lots of free parking and less crowds.
Our leader will be Jeff Caplan, nature enthusiast and teacher.
We will be working on a little land art on the banks in several nearby places. The aim is to take pictures and videos. We will also engage in a little exercise in short walks, and a little socializing!
