"The Crowded Table", a collaborative idea from the minds and hearts of Heather Paris (Killingly, CT) and Tiffany Gallo (Woodstock, CT), is extending to Washington state, thanks to Adriana Morris. Adriana, was inspired to help us spread the vision of a friendship first networking community. So, The Crowded Table is inviting women from local and surrounding communities, who could benefit from some low drama, high vibration 🫶 networking and connection, to join them IRL (In Real Life) and online, to do the important work of building strong community relationships.
At a time when the world would have us believe that it's all on fire, The Crowded Table (named after the song, of the same title, by The Highwomen) seeks to be a "place" of unity and hope; where relationships that bridge social, economic and political divides is the norm and serves as the new example for the world.
When The Crowded Table first started, no one knew exactly what the offical topic of conversation was going to be - but here are some common themes that have emerged...
- Support and encouragement for those of us who are currently, or have in the past been caregivers (caring for children and/ or aging/ disabled family members)
- Fostering a sense of community and togetherness, without regard for the current news cycle
- A desire to find ways (big and small) that we can work together to address needs within our communities
- Sharing experiences and resources from our diverse backgrounds to bring value to everyone in the group
Come join us, and together we'll keep expanding the mission from here!
