After three increasingly well-received Earth Day Celebrations, Inland North Waste is thrilled to announce our fourth iteration will take place on Saturday April 26th, 2025, from 4-7 PM at East City Park in Moscow, Idaho. As in years past, this will be a free, family-focused event with live bluegrass and folk music from Tequila Mule, free food courtesy of C&L Locker and INW Staff, adult beverages for purchase by Shattuck Brewery, story time from the Moscow Public Library, facepainting, informative and interactive displays, games, giveaways, and more in honor of the countless people and organizations who go above and beyond to clean, protect, and preserve our environment.
We would like to extend special thanks to our Community Sponsors and Partners, whose contributions help keep this event free and accessible to all who care to attend. This year’s sponsors include Hayden & Ross, Moscow Food Coop, Allegra Image 360, Inland Northwest Broadcasting, SynTier Engineering, and Appearances Marketing & Promotion.
INW will also be hosting more community organizations and activities than ever this year, with representatives from the University of Idaho Extension, City of Moscow, Idaho Department of Environmental Equality, Moscow Contemporary Art Gallery, Idaho Heritage Trust, Palouse Basin Aquifer Committee, Goodwill, Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute, Palouse Land Trust, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, United Way of Moscow/Latah County, and Inland Oasis.
INW representatives will also be joining our friends from PCEI at their Native Tree & Shrub Planting event at City Park in Troy, beginning at 9:30 on the 26th. Visit PCEI’s GivePulse page to sign up and make a lasting difference in a beautiful public space.
Earth Day at East City Park is part of Inland North Waste’s ongoing ‘We Wave Back’ campaign, which seeks to celebrate and give back to the Palouse community. Be sure to check INW’s website, Facebook, and Instagram accounts as the date gets closer for further information on the event itself.
