Make ink from plants with Inkpot Alchemists Dijanne Cevaal and Cheryl Cook

Join Cheryl Cook and Dijanne Cevaal from Inkpot Alchemy and explore what nature brings in the form of inks. In this all-day workshop, you will learn several techniques to make ink from plants. You will also have an opportunity to try your inks and learn botanical printing techniques. You will paint, make marks, and print in various forms on cloth and paper.

It is an exciting way to connect with places of the heart. Cheryl and Dijanne’s art practice is deeply rooted in how we interact with our surroundings. It is a visual record of time, of place and of engagement. You will be using materials that tell the story of growth and regrowth, layers of meaning connecting us to our places and the stories that arise from those places.
