Furs, Flavors, and Flintlocks

Come on out to the Crockett Tavern Museum in Morristown for a rip-roaring good time!

Join us at the Crockett Tavern as we learn about Furs, Flavors, and Flintlocks.

THIS EVENT IS NOT AT DAVID CROCKETT BIRTHPLACE STATE PARK!

Pelts a Plenty – 11am

What kind of critters roamed the frontier and how were they used?

Frontier Firearms – 12pm

What did folks on the frontier use to hunt, provide, and protect themselves?

Special Spices – 1pm

What spices were used in 18th century America, where did they originate, and what was the cost?

Tavern Tours will be held throughout the day and are 30 minutes – 1 hour long.

Doors open at 11am, Tavern Tours are $5 – adult, $4.50 – seniors and veterans, and $1 for children 5-18. (cash or check only) Programs are free to the public!

In the event of inclement weather this event will be cancelled.
