Join 4-H for two fun-filled days of outdoor adventure and creativity-the two session take place August 5 & August 7! This hands-on program blends nature exploration with artistic expression, perfect for curious minds who love the outdoors. For ages 8-12. $20 per child for both days, which includes a nature journal, water bottle, beginner binoculars, compass, and a drawstring bag.
Activities will include guided hikes with nature-based activities like sound mapping, plant and bird ID, and scavenger hunts; creative art projects like nature journaling, poetry, bookmarks and stick boats; and reflective time to capture your favorite discoveries through drawing and writing.
Whether you’re a budding artist, a nature lover, or both—this program is a great way to explore, create, and connect with the world around you!
