Honors Lecture Series: Loneliness :: Solitude

In this first lecture of the Honors Lecture Series, on the theme of "Loneliness :: Solitude," the Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Liberal Arts Dr. Todd Richardson will deliver his first presentation, "Lonely Folk: Social Isolation and the Sharing of Meaning."

A Q&A and Reception will be held.

Professor of music Dr. Ann DuHamel will deliver the address "The Loneliest Number Since the Number One: Duos of Sehnsucht and Solitude." A Q&A and Reception will be held in the HFA Recital Hall

October 6
In this fourth and last lecture of the Honors Lecture Series, professor of biology Dr. Meredith Semel will deliver the address "Alone or Lonely? The Secret Social Lives of Animals." A Q&A and Reception will be held in Imholte 109
