Haunted History with the Morgantown History Museum

Join the Friends of the Morgantown History Museum for an evening performance of ghost stories from Morgantown. Storyteller Jason Burns will present spooky tales from the city that will showcase the haunted history of Morgantown and the spirits (and one peculiar monster) that dwell within it.

Burns is a member and former president of the West Virginia Storytelling Guild, and is the founder of the West Virginia Spectral Heritage Project. Since 2006, the WVSHP has researched, collected, and performed supernatural tales from around the state of West Virginia. Currently, the project's archive contains over 600 paranormal stories, and at least one from every county in the state.

Admission is $20 per person. This event is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Morgantown History Museum, which is a 501C-3 non-profit organization that supports the Morgantown History Museum's research, artifact acquisitions, exhibit creation, and museum events.
