The Physics and Astronomy Graduate Student Organization (PAGSO) and the WVU Department of Physics and Astronomy will host The Magic of Physics Children's Science Show at 6:00 PM on October 24 in White Hall, Room B51.
The first 50 children in attendance will receive a Halloween-themed goodie bag! At this event, physics and astronomy graduate students will illustrate a variety of physics and astronomy phenomena at an age-appropriate level using demonstrations to promote an interest in science. Topics include simple mechanics, projectile motion, electricity and magnetism, angular momentum, inertia, and waves and diffraction.
This event is free and open to the public of all ages! Reservations are required. Tickets are available via our friends at the WVU Planetarium and Observatory beginning at 8:00 AM on Friday, October 17.

🌟 White Hall is located on the Downtown Campus of West Virginia University at 135 Willey Street in Morgantown, WV. The event will be hosted in the building's annex, located directly across the street from the Lutheran Campus Ministry along University Avenue.
