Titles, Tapas and Tasting

To celebrate the end of summer, Thornwell Books will hold our first ever "Titles, Tapas and Tasting" event on Thursday, August 21st at 6:30pm. Have a glass of wine and enjoy a variety of small plate delicacies provided by Laura Hicks of Queen's Catering. Booksellers will talk about some of our favorite titles of the past season that you might have missed. We will be joined by Wesley Sheffield, the new wine rep for 3 Keys Wine, who will lead us in a tasting of some of his favorite wines. We will end with a sneak preview of the most anticipated fall titles from the bigger publishers. Tickets are $20 per person (plus tax) and include tapas, a glass of wine and dessert from Ugly Duckling bakery.
