Let’s work with Loofah, the incredible, edible, earth sponge that is not only easy to grow but also has many practical uses in your home.
Please join me Saturday, October 11th at 10am-12:30pm for a workshop with Loofah.
From bathing, to cleaning, to some new ideas I’ve been trying out with the over-abundance this year has so graciously provided for me, I’m ready to share with you the many ways we have been utilizing this beautiful plant.
What to expect… we will learn a little about the history of loofah and the many ways they’ve been used, take a walk to the garden to see how they grew this year, pick and process your own loofah and then you’ll have the opportunity to make your own loofah cake sponge similar to the heart shaped one in the first picture.
You will also get to bring your loofah home along with a seed packet for growing them next year.
This class will take 2.5 hours with a bathroom and snack break in the middle, specifically to complete the processing of the sponge and prevention of bacterial growth.
Cost of the class is $25 and is limited in space. Please message me for more details and to reserve your spot.
