Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol with Tim Lowry
Saturday, December 6, 2025
Storyteller Tim Lowry has traveled from coast to coast presenting Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol in theaters, restaurants, churches, libraries, and living rooms, with over 200 shows to his credit.
Of course, everyone knows that Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is a ghost story. However, Storyteller Tim Lowry manages to give the ghosts their due while addressing other themes from the novel that run the full gamut of human experience. He comments on the passage of time, the importance of family, the pleasure of music, the significance of weather, and the joy that comes from feasting abundantly on delicious food.
Tim’s one-man show is a sensory delight that “haunts pleasantly,” in Dickens’s words. Audiences often return year after year as part of their holiday tradition.
