- **Event Description**: The Holiday Seconds Sale has been a favorite tradition for almost thirty years, and it all started with a few tables of pottery on the patio of my parents’ house in Hickory. What began as a small backyard sale has grown into the gallery’s most festive and well-loved event of the year.

Join us on Saturday, December 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a day filled with good company, warm drinks, and handmade craft. This is the one day each year when I open the shelves and share the year’s “seconds” — pottery that came out of the kiln with small quirks or surprises. These pieces are still beautiful and completely functional, and they will be 20 to 50 percent off as I make room for next year’s work.

Guest artists David Wyke, Courtney Long, and Maria Avila will join in with their own seconds, adding even more variety to the mix. Expect an easygoing atmosphere, good conversation, and a touch of holiday spirit in the air.

Whether you are a longtime collector or just curious about pottery, this is the perfect day to stop by, find a treasure, and enjoy one of the gallery’s most joyful traditions of the season.
