Come join me for this Mothers Day Lei Po'o (Hawaiian style floral crown) workshop. Whether you are an expecting mother, mourning mother, a mother to a human, a cat, or a plant, all are welcome to join this event. Even those who appreciate mothers can join in on the fun!

Hello and Aloha! Come join me for a fun Lei Po'o Workshop where you'll learn how to make your very own floral crown. This hands-on event will teach you the art and history of crafting these headpieces using fresh flowers and foliage. Photos on my Eventbrite page are from various workshops I've hosted.

Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking for a fun activity in the South Bay. Come explore and sip on some delicious wines made by Paul and Vicki at P&V Winery while you make your lei. There will also be live music you can jam to while you make your lei.

What does this event include?

Everything needed for your lei po'o:

• A braided lei base
• Rafia for wrapping
• Fresh and prepped flowers and foliage
• A small sweet treat
• Live music
• Wine available for purchase

Attire:

• Wear something comfortable since we will be sitting for two hours.
• Ideas: Dress up so you can snap photos at the winery with your lei.
• Ideas: Bring a sun or cowboy hat, so you can tie the lei po'o around like a paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy)

Agenda:

• Come early to explore the winery! They open at 11am.
• 12:00PM - 12:10PM - Check-in and welcomes
• 12:10PM - 12:20PM - Introduction and History
• 12:20PM - 2:00 PM - Live Demonstration and Crafting Time

Pricing/Payment:

• $65/person
• I can accept Venmo/Zelle/Apple Pay if you are interested in skipping the Eventbrite fees. Let me know by contacting me through Eventbrite.
• There is a minimum of 3 attendees. If there are not enough attendees 10 days before the event, I will refund your tickets in full if you Venmo'ed/Zelled me.
• Note: Eventbrite fees cannot be refunded.
• Refunds will be given 10 days before the event.
