In Expectation of the Messiah
Was the birth of Jesus a surprise? Was it expected? What did Old Testament prophecies have to say to God's people—the Jews—oppressed by the Roman Empire as the Year of the Lord approached? At 6 p.m. on December 16, we'll explore these questions with Father Brice and, more importantly, allow the ancient expectation of Our Lord's coming to speak to us today as we—with the New Testament—cry out, "Come, Lord Jesus!" (Rev 22:20; cf. 1 Cor 16:22).
