Moose Jaw Public Library Summer Reading Club Launch Party!

Join us for our annual Summer Reading Club launch!

When: Saturday, June 14 from 1-3 pm
Where: Crescent Park in front of the Library (in the case of inclement weather or smoke, the festivities will move into the Library Theatre).
Who: All ages are welcome! There is no cost to attend.

Summer Reading Club starts on June 14, 2025!
This year’s theme is “Around the World” and we are kicking things of with a multicultural celebration of special performers and guests to help us celebrate the diverse communities that make up this amazing place we call home! The celebration will include the following performers:

Marcela Borrero Cruz - Latin dancing (performance & fun instruction)
Clayton Getz - Grass dancing
Chinese Dancers & Qipao Show
Ibrahim Hussein - Syrian/Kurdish Musician
Iryna Levchenko - Ukrainian Musician

In addition to this we will have Community Partners on site sharing about their summer learning opportunities as well! These include:

The City of Moose Jaw & Parks Program
Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery
Moose Jaw Multicultural Council
Festival of Words
Henna artist, Zerin Hasan

What else? Fun games! Music! Treats!
We will have Summer Reading Club Information packages for you to take home so you can start reading and logging those minutes!
