Unveiling of the Sister Edith Yeaman Memorial Bust

On behalf of the Montrose Township Group and our community partners, we are pleased to invite you to a special commemorative event – the Unveiling of the Sister Edith Yeaman Memorial Bust, taking place on:

This significant occasion honours the courage and service of all nurses who have served, with a particular tribute to Sister Edith Yeaman, a dedicated wartime nurse and respected Montrose local. The bronze bust serves as one of Australia’s few memorials dedicated specifically to nurses, ensuring their legacy is recognised and remembered.

The unveiling will be followed by a community Afternoon Tea in the Town Centre Auditorium, and all are welcome to join us in this moment of reflection, gratitude, and connection.
