Dame Nellie Melba loved parties, games and pranks, and her favourite saying was “let’s have fun!”. Join us for this one-off after dark event where we’ll truly party like Melba—a woman who dared to live on her own terms.

- Witness an intimate theatre vignette about Melba created by Yarra Ranges local and writer of plays, short stories and poetry, Beata Frey Taylor.

- Try to solve the mystery of the dagger from Romeo and Juliet with Australian Performing Arts Centre curator Ian Jackson.

- Embrace Melba’s love for tarot and fortune-telling and have your tarot read with Daniel Teitelbaum of Playful Thinking.

- Be enveloped by a powerful operatic performance showcasing some of Melba's most well-known performances.

- Dress up, play games and take a selfie in Melba’s Vintage Playroom.
