The library talk series will run on the first Saturday of the month from February - November 2025. Many talks will be hosted by Pat Natoli, however, there will also be some additional speakers this year as part of our Many Hands of Montrose project, in collaboration with the Montrose Township Group. MTG will create specific event details for these - but this event is a 'placeholder' for our mini markets.
May 3rd - Textile Stewardship with Pat Natoli
June 7th - Fight Food Waste: Scraptastic Cooking with Urban Nanna
July 5th - Propagating Your Own Food with Kat Lavers
August 2nd - DIY Energy Efficiency for Your Home with Danielle King
September 6th - Companion Planting with Pat Natoli
October 4th - Composting with Pat Natoli
November 1st - Regenerative Gardening with Pat Natoli
So, without further ado, the talks will run from 10:30-11:30am, then the mini markets will run from 11:30am-12:30pm.
Please bring your own bags (limit of 1 bag of produce, 1 bag of bread and 1 meat item per family to ensure everyone gets some food).
After the market, any food leftover will be dropped to 49 Durham Rd, Kilsyth (Japara Bridge House).
GIVE WHAT YOU CAN, TAKE WHAT YOU NEED.
Please do not pressure volunteers to give you more items if there is a limited amount of certain items available. Sharing is important. Don't forget to thank the volunteers
