Viking Embroidery Workshop

Join Claudia Pétursson as she leads an embroidery workshop. This class will show the different styles of embroidery used to make the Njals Saga Tapestry and similar works from the Viking period. The event is free, however kits will need to be purchased at the Heritage Gift Shop.

This event is funded in part by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council through a Minnesota State Legislative appropriation; The Arts Partnership with support from the Cities of Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo; the Alex Stern Family Foundation, the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation, the F-M Icelandic Klub, and Maureen Kelly Jonason.
