Join us for this month’s Spectrum Connection Workshop: Home-Grown Independence! 🏠
We’re moving beyond just "doing" for our kids and learning how to empower them using the same clinical strategies we use in the center. Whether you’re an Adaptive family or a neighbor looking for expert guidance, our BCBAs and RBTs are here to help you master visuals, prompting, and backward chaining through hands-on play!
We have three activites ready for you and your family to learn together:
🔍 A Visual Scavenger Hunt: Learn how the "Power of Visuals" can turn chores into a game. We’ll practice finding and sorting clothing to make "cleaning up" a win-win.
🥪 Sandwich Making: We'll practice Least-to-Most Prompting when making a sandwich. It’s the secret to stepping back so your child can step up!
👗 A Costume Fashion Show: We’re using costumes to master the art of getting dressed! You’ll learn Backward Chaining—a clinical trick that builds confidence by letting the child finish the "winning" step of a task.
