The Rising's Sunday Service ~ The Discipline of Burden Sharing

Last Sunday our community celebrated the 121st Anniversary of God establishing our fellowship to spread the love & grace in South New Jersey. Minister Walt Palmer was our special Anniversary Preacher & the Holy Spirit led him to Psalm 121 as the text for our anniversary message: Help is on the way!

The Holy Spirit was definitely in the place as Min. Palmer preached to us about God’s Protection, Power, Peace and that he Preserves us. May the Lord Bless our fellowship with another 121 years!

Looking ahead to this Sunday, we will begin another series. This series deals with the Community Building Spiritual Discipline. During this Series we will deal with different personal Spiritual Disciplines that blesses God’s Community! The first discipline we will deal with is:

If you want to live a frustrated life, just try to fix a community’s problems by yourself! If you want to really struggle, just try to life a weight you were not designed or equipped to handle. Just like a water balloon filled with too much water, our situations can explode and make an absolute mess, not just for us, but for our community!
