🎆 Fireworks will light up the Sunshine Coast skies this New Year’s Eve!

⭐ Mooloolaba at 8.30pm and midnight
Due to the Mooloolaba revitalisation project construction works along Mooloolaba Esplanade, the 8.30pm and midnight fireworks displays will be fired from an offshore barge in front of the HMAS Brisbane Lookout.
This new location means you can enjoy great views from Maroochydore Beach in the north, to Point Cartwright in the south.

✨ Relaxed and laid-back – Pack a picnic and enjoy the show from your chosen location.
👨👩👧 Family fun – From 5pm, enjoy roving performers, light entertainment, and food trucks at HMAS Brisbane Lookout, Northern Parklands, and Beach Terrace.
🎉 Heading out-out – Local cafés, restaurants, and traders are open and ready to welcome you. Book into your favourite restaurant or cruise boat to enjoy the fireworks.
Getting there
However you celebrate, make sure to plan your travel ahead of time to avoid traffic and parking congestion.
🚍 Buses
Take advantage of the 50-cent public transport fares. Extra services will run on the 600 and 620routes every 15 minutes from 6pm - 1.30am.

🚲 Free BikePark service
Get there by pedal power, ride your bikes, e-bikes, scooters and e-scooters then leave them safely supervised in the dedicated BikePark at Mooloolaba Esplanade, opposite Meta Street.

🚘Uber
Dedicated Uber drop off point available outside Northwind Beachfront Holiday Apartments, Mooloolaba.
🚖Taxi
All existing Taxi ranks will be running throughout the night.
⛴ Ferry
Mooloolaba Ferry service will be running throughout the evening, between Kawana Waters Hotel and The Wharf, Mooloolaba.
🅿 Parking
Paid parking is available at ParknGo Mooloolaba.
🐾 Pets
