Western Slope Content & Connection October Meetup

Calling all creatives, entrepreneurs, and small business owners — our next Western Slope Content & Connection meetup is happening, and you’re invited! 🎉

For those that are new here, first, hi, and welcome! I am so happy to have you here! This group is all about supporting each other through learning and exploring the crazy thing we call Social Media. Each month we come together, network with new and familiar faces, brainstorm, and create content with each other, and be heard and helped in a safe and fun environment.

This month we’ll be moving into new content themes to keep your strategy growing. The last few months we focused on static posts. This month, we’ll take what we learned and apply it to fresh content ideas like carousels and reels (with guidelines/direction) so you can keep building momentum in your business. Even if you weren’t here the last few months this is still going to bring great value to your social media growth!

✨What to Expect:

* Meetups will now run from 5:30–7:30 PM so everyone can get home earlier.

* We’ll meet as one group this time — I’ve heard from many of you that learning from both beginner and advanced perspectives is helpful for everyone!

* We’ll be starting with content creation (after announcements and intros) so you leave with something tangible for your business. You’ll collaborate, create, and brainstorm together so you leave with content ready to post (or minimally ideas to film later).

* Bring 1-3 content ideas + props (if needed) to work through with the group for feedback and collaboration.

* Q&A will be at the end. Last time we tried a “write your question” format with the whole group- each attendee gets 1 question, so we make sure every voice is heard. Be prepared with at least 2 in case we work through the first round quickly. 

* Everyone will continue practicing 30- 45 second elevator pitches, refining them each month to help you grow in confidence. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PART PLEASE COME AT 5:45 INSTEAD- I never want you to feel uncomfortable here. 

Whether you’re brand-new to social media or working on sharpening your advanced strategy, these meetups are designed to give you practical tools, real connections, and actionable next steps in your social media journey. 

⚡️ Important Notes:

* This event is for everyone — we welcome and encourage male-owned businesses to attend, too. The more diverse our group, the more perspectives and value we all gain!

* Something to take notes with- **this time we won’t have tables so make sure you can write on your lap.

* Your phone/computer

* Business cards to share

* Your elevator pitch

* 1-3 content ideas + props (if needed)

* 1-2 questions for Q&A
