Rejoignez-nous le 19 juin pour l’ouverture de notre nouvelle exposition et film Avec la forêt.
Cet événement marque le lancement du troisième et dernier chapitre de la série Sur le terrain, commissarié par Francesco Garutti qui suit les pratiques d’architectes contemporains sur le terrain. L’événement commencera par une conférence de Carla Juaçaba à 18h au Théâtre Paul-Desmarais. Juaçaba présentera ses processus de travail, ainsi que ses projets en cours et réalisés incluant un musée et espace communautaire en solidarité avec Flor de Café, un collectif de petits cultivateurs de café de la région du Minas Gerais, au Brésil.
Les galeries d’exposition seront ouvertes à partir de 17h, et à la suite de la conférence, la soirée se poursuivra par une célébration dans la maison Shaughnessy de 19h à 21h.
Cet évènement est gratuit et ouvert à tous. Aucune inscription n’est nécessaire.

Join us on 19 June for the opening of our new exhibition and film With an Acre.
The event launches the third and final chapter of our three-part Groundwork series, curated by Francesco Garutti and exploring the field research of contemporary architects. The event will begin with a talk by Brazilian architect Carla Juaçaba at 6pm in the Paul-Desmarais Theatre. Juaçaba will present her work, processes, and methodologies, including a project to develop a museum and community space in solidarity with Flor de Café, a collective of smallholder coffee farmers in Minas Gerais, Brazil, featured in the exhibition and film.
The galleries will open at 5pm, and the evening will conclude with a celebration in the Shaughnessy House from 7pm to 9pm.
This event is free and open to the public, no reservation is required.
