Dans le cadre de la programmation publique de l’exposition Nous/otrxs, l’artiste Martín Rodríguez sera accompagné de Stephen McComber, chef du Conseil mohawk de Kahnawà:ke, gardien des savoirs traditionnels haudenosaunee et de semences, ainsi que de Ashley Lyons de Tkà:nios, qui promeut la souveraineté alimentaire autochtone et les savoirs culinaires traditionnels à travers des apprentissages ancrés dans le territoire. Ensemble, ils réfléchiront à la manière dont leur travail en matière de préservation des terres et de résilience communautaire permet de nourrir la mémoire culturelle et de soutenir des futurs durables.

As part of the public program of the exhibition Nous/otrxs, artist Martín Rodríguez will be joined by Stephen McComber, Chief at the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke and traditional Haudenosaunee knowledge and seed keeper, and Ashley Lyons from Tkà:nios, community initiative which promotes Indigenous food sovereignty and traditional foodways through land-based learning. Together, they will reflect on how their work in land stewardship and community resilience sustains cultural memory and fosters sustainable futures.
