Mike McKenna Jr. is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, known for his indie folk and Americana music with captivating storytelling. He's an ECMA-winning and CFMA-nominated artist, with albums rooted in his upbringing in the coal mining town of Glace Bay and along the Mira River. His music often explores themes of his home, including nostalgia, narrative, poetry, protest, and stories about life and death in working-class communities.
