Join an immersive two-day workshop led by Giulio Vanzan, a seasoned Commedia dell’Arte master trained at the renowned Helikos International School of Theatre Creation under the guidance of Giovanni Fusetti and Liz Baron.
Drawing on his extensive experience as a performer and educator, Giulio brings a unique depth to his teaching.
This workshop focuses on building essential performance skills at the heart of Commedia dell’Arte:

About the Instructor:
Giulio Vanzan is a master of Commedia dell’Arte with a strong foundation in the physical and improvisational techniques honed through his training at Helikos.
His deep understanding of the art form is further enriched by years of artistic-anthropological research into Commedia dell’Arte and traditional masks. Giulio has dedicated years to sharing his passion for Commedia dell’Arte, working extensively with the Italian Cultural Institute to teach this vibrant theatrical tradition around the world.
His unique perspective is also informed by his background as a PhD in Psychology and Neuroscience, offering a rich and multifaceted approach to the study and practice of Commedia dell’Arte.
This workshop is ideal for actors, performers, students of theatre, and anyone eager to explore a dynamic and physically engaging approach to performance, improvisation, and the enduring power of masked theatre.
