Confabulation presents: Bookmarked – stories of plot twists, strong characters, and the tales that won’t let go.

Confabulation, Montreal’s original true life storytelling series, kicks off our 16th season
with another night of stories – true as we can tell them. We will be celebrating The Word bookstore’s 50th anniversary at the Centaur Theatre, in collaboration with The Word, DeStill and Maktaba.

Our theme is Bookmarked – stories of plot twists, strong characters, and the tales that won’t let go. We’re looking for stories about the stories – a true tale that features a literary work as a key character or element. Like backpacking across Europe with a beat up copy of Les Miserables, riding a midlife crisis with Tolstoy by your side, or that piece of slam poetry that changed your life forever.
