There is an assistant teacher.
Classes involve learning foundational movement, movement drills & repetition, strength conditioning & flexibility, rhythm and musicality awareness, historical & cultural awareness, improvisation & partner work.

About B-girl Lynx:
Lynx has been b-girling since 1998 when she began with her b-girl crew Ellementale 5. She continues to this day with her current b-girl crew of 16 years Legendary crew.

Graduating with a BFA with Distinction in Contemporary Dance from Concordia University, Lynx has danced for the Bboyizm dance company and her choreographic work has been presented at Festivals in Los Angeles, Toronto and Montreal.

Lynx has trained intensively in Breaking and Street Dance Styles with local and international master teachers from 1999 until the present day.

Lynx created a curriculum to teach b-boy/b-girl technique to university-level dance students within the Dance Department at UQAM and continues to teach thousands of students in Montreal and across Canada.

She has worked with First Nations and Inuit youth at risk in remote northern communities and with people of all ages and disabilities as well as coaching elite youth dancers at a National level.
2025 marks her 27th year of Breaking and her 22nd year of teaching, which she considers to be the greatest gift of her career.
At the age of 52, Lynx continues to compete locally and nationally. Over the span of her 27 year career she has won 25 competitions across North America. She was the 2024 & 2022 Redbull BC One Montreal B-girl Champion and the Quebec Female Elite champion for 2023. From 2021-2024 she was ranked in the top 8 b-girls in Canada and competed at the Canadian Nationals.
She is also invited to judge competitions nationally and in the U.S. and has frequently been an invited speaker for symposiums and panel discussions.
Lynx has organized numerous dance events in Montreal since 2004, including her most renowned event, Queens Creation, which is dedicated to honouring women in Hip Hop.
Lynx has received multiple awards in recognition of her ongoing dedication and contributions to the Hip Hop Community.
