Join us for a creative and reflective workshop exploring the history and spiritual significance of anting-antings.
LOCATION: Studio 3 Tables
ADDRESS: 4710 Saint Ambroise St #350, Montreal, Quebec H4C 2C7
TIME: 1-4pm
COST: This event is pay-what-you-can. Any contribution is appreciated and makes it possible for everyone to join.
Led by facilitator Ash, we'll briefly discuss the origins of anting-antings, then take a moment to reflect on what we want to invite into our protective charms. Ash will demonstrate how to craft them using clay, providing all necessary tools and glazes.
Participants are encouraged to personalize their anting-antings with symbols, sigils, or words that resonate with their intentions—whether it's protection, self-kindness, gratitude for ancestors, or solidarity with the kapwa community worldwide. Feel free to create as many as you like!
While the workshop centers on Filipino/a/x culture in the diaspora, all non-Filipino/a/x kapwa are warmly welcome.
Please note: masks are mandatory at the venue.
Limited spots available—registration is required.
**If for any reason you’re unable to join us after registering, we’d be so grateful if you let us know. This allows us to open the spot for someone else in the community who may be waiting to join. As a volunteer-led organization, these gatherings take time and care to organize—thank you for helping us hold space with compassion for all.
