Opening Day Vermont State Historic Sites

The Chimney Point, President Calvin Coolidge, Mount Independence, and Hubbardton Battlefield State Historic Sites open for the 2025 season on Friday, May 23rd. The Bennington Battle Monument opens earlier, on May 16th. The President Chester Arthur site opens on Saturday, May 24th. The Justin Morrill State Historic Site in Strafford will be closed for the 2025 season, as it undergoes necessary drainage and other work. Check historicsites.vermont.gov for days and hours of operation for the sites. We hope to see you in 2025.
