Riverfest Parade

NEW START TIME! This year’s parade begins at 11 a.m. - an hour earlier than years past. This will allow plenty of time for parade goers to get to Ellison Park after the parade to enjoy Sunday Funday festivities.

Grab your neon shades and hair spray! It’s time for the 2025 Totally-80s-themed Riverfest Parade!

Bring your lawn chair and show off your parade wave! The annual Riverfest Parade brings a crowd and delivers fun for the entire family.

The parade starts on 3rd Street at the Monticello American Legion Club and heads East to Walnut Street. Then it will take a right on Walnut Street and head South until 6th Street. The Parade takes a right on 6th Street and heads West to Minnesota Street where it turns South and ends on 7th Street.

Head to Ellison Park (located at 811 East River Street in Monticello) after the parade for Sunday Funday food, activities, duck race, coronation, and citizen of the year!
