Cooking Up Health: The Mediterranean Way

Sessions will feature food demonstrations and tastings, providing you with practical skills and delicious recipes to incorporate into your daily life.

Dates: This class will be held on multiple dates: Wednesday, September 24, October 1, 8, 29, November 5, and 12.

After participating in this series, you will:

• Increase your understanding of healthy eating concepts and health benefits associated with the Mediterranean-style eating pattern
• Increase your confidence in selecting, planning, preparing, and implementing a healthy, regular eating pattern
• Increase your understanding and implementation of mindful eating strategies

Curriculum: This series is based on the "Med Instead of Meds" curriculm, developed by NC State University, whcih emphasizes the benefits of the Mediterranean dieat for long-term health and wellness.
