***What is a munch?***
A munch is a meet and greet in a public restaurant. It's a way to meet people in person, whether its making new friends or meeting someone for the first time. You are surrounded by others that are like minded creating a safer environment.
*This munch is not just for those who are kinky but those who live outside of the realms of society's traditional relationships.*
***What is consensual non-monogamy?***
CNM is a relationship practice based on having multiple partners that are all informed.
***What is Consent Culture?***
There are different ways to practice consent.
* Opt In consent culture is a form of consent, in which individuals agree on perimeters prior to play/ relationship. (ie phone companies asking to share your information prior to sharing)
* Opt out consent culture is a form of consent that relies heavily on individuals sharing boundary perimeters during or after play/ relationship. (ie apps sharing your information without prior permission)
*At the munch we encourage an opt in culture. Please gain permission to touch people or their things prior to touching. This includes hugs, seats and conversations. Ask every time, just because you have been given permission once, doesn't mean you have a blanket permission forever. Thanks*
***What is EPP? (Explicit Prior Permission)***
The NCSF (National Coalition of sexual Freedom) has been working diligently on making sure consent matters on a judicial level. That consent spans across the board including both Ethical non-monogamy and kink practices. Feel free to keep up with the happening:

***What do people talk about?***
Conversations can span form everyday happening in life to relationships to S&m practices. It's a great place to find out about events, vetting potential partners or gaining information or finding mentors.
*The restaurant will sometimes need to sit people near us that are not part of our group, so please make sure you are aware of your surroundings and the volume of your voice.*
***What should I wear?***
In general you should dress as if you were meeting someone for the first time following to the standards of the location.
*This is a casual restaurant, you are encouraged to dress in nice jeans/pants and shirt. Please feel free to dress how you feel most confident but please keep in mind you may run into a child somewhere in the restaurant so be respectful with how much you expose.
