Why We Climb:
Join us in honoring the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who gave everything on September 11, 2001. Our climb replicates the 110 flights of stairs in the Twin Towers, reminding us of the incredible bravery and endurance it took to answer the call that day.
This year's fundraiser benefits the Montgomery County Backstoppers, a charitable organization committed to assisting the families of first responders in Montgomery County who have tragically lost their lives while serving in the line of duty. Your participation directly supports those who continue to bear the weight of that sacrifice.
Event Details:
Climb: 110 ascents of the Montgomery County High School bleachers (equivalent to the 110 stories of the Twin Towers)
Optional Weighted Vest: Participants are welcome to wear a weighted vest to symbolize the heavy gear our firefighters carried-often 50-75 pounds-while climbing to save others.
All Fitness Levels Welcome: You may climb at your own pace.
Entry Fee:
$20 per participant (includes event T-shirt if registered by Monday, September 1st)
Please make entry checks out to Montgomery County Backstoppers. Entry forms can be dropped off at the Achieve Fitness drop box (to left of front door).
