Get ready—downtown is turning into a fall wonderland for October’s First Friday and Saturday celebration!
Friday, October 3 – First Friday Fun
🎃 Scarecrow Contest – Show off your creativity! Scarecrows must be self-standing, weather-ready, and displayed outside Oct. 1–15. A community map will guide visitors along the Scarecrow Trail.
🎯 Pumpkin Coupon Hunt – Participating businesses will hide small plastic pumpkins stuffed with special coupons and deals! Find one and score a treat from another downtown business.
🎨 Kids’ Craft Stations – Shops will be hosting simple, low-cost fall craft projects for families. From pumpkin decorating to pinecone bird feeders, there’s a make-and-take activity for every little artist.
🍽 Fall Food Trail – Restaurants and bars will feature delicious seasonal specials—think pumpkin lattes, cider cocktails, chili, and s’mores-inspired treats.
Saturday, October 4 – Festivities Continue
🛍 Fall & Halloween Vendors (12–4 PM) – Local makers and bakers will line the sidewalks with seasonal goods and handcrafted treasures.
