WHAT IS FREECYCLE?
Freecycle is a way to donate items totally free of charge and you accept them totally free of charge. NO ONE PAYS ANYONE FOR ANTYTHING! Kind of like a YARD SALE BUT EVERYTHING IS FREE!
It is a great way to clear out some stuff that is too good for the landfill and is just taking of space at your home, stuff you have been meaning to donate, but someone else likely could use. No selling anything PLEASE.
WHAT ITEMS CAN I BRING TO SHARE?
Small housewares, men women and kids' clothes, shoes, kitchen goods, books/toys, garden stuff, baby stuff, plants, small appliances, clean towels or blankets, crafting or hobby stuff, sports equipment. ALL ELECTRONICS HAVE TO BE IN WORKING ORDER.
ALL ITEMS YOU DONATE MUST BE CLEAN AND AT THE MOOSE LODGE NO LATER THAN 2pm SHARP. Nothing will be allowed to be brought after 2pm, sorry.
WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED?
LARGE FURNITURE ie Sofa, Fridge, TV’s, stove/oven or Dining table, No Car Parts or accessories, no house paint or chemicals or other hazardous materials.
HOW DOES THIS EVENT WORK? NO CHARGE TO BRING STUFF OR TO TAKE STUFF, FREE ADMISSION AND FREEE PARKING
EVERYONE, MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS
You can bring stuff to the lodge parking lot from 11am-2pm.
BRING: your gently used clean items you want to get rid of between 11am-2pm
Please unpack your items neatly and add them top what’s out already. PLEASE do not make a mess. Tables are provided for you to add your stuff to. Monterey Moose Lodge reserves the right to refuse any item(s),
TAKE: ANYONE can shop for anything you want to take for FREE 12PM-4PM, leave what you can’t use. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING FOR RESELL!
