An intensive week for experienced dancers
Our Tango-holidays are a perfect blend of vacation and tango. Apart from the daily lessons, centre stage goes to enjoying the wonderful ambience of the surroundings, the relaxed socialising within the group and the dancing after a fine meal.
Detlef and Melina will be giving 20 hours of classes dancers with a good technical basis. We have, however, also added the option to join the group without participating in the classes. Check out the different options!
This week will be exceptional, because we can visit the milonga of our good friends in Florence and will invite them to join us in the villa for one of our evening milongas.
The participants:
The classes are geared towards dancers with a solid foundation in tango: A good technical basis as well as a knowledge about musical variation is recommended. If you are not sure, if this applies to you, please contact us. We recommend registering with a partner.
The teachers:
Melina Sedó & Detlef Engel are since 2001 teaching social tango in a close embrace all over Europe and the USA. Their focus is on musicality, communication and improvisation. Through their dedication as teachers and organisers they have helped shape sozial tango significantly and their students are amongst the most sought-after partners at milongas and encuentros.
In 2013 they began training teachers and in 2015 produced an instructional Book + Film, that is considered as standard for everyone who wants to dance tango with sense and sensibility.

The location:
Villa Le Ferrette is situated high on a hill and offers a breathtaking view of the valley and the spa town of Montecatini Terme, famous for its thermal springs.
Suitable for up to twenty-three guests, Le Ferrette is an ideal spot for a tango holiday, with plenty of space for everyone both in the house and in the outdoor areas. There is a nice pool and outdoor dining (or dancing) area and the estate is surrounded by an orchard, olive trees, pine trees and hiking trails. For everyone who wants even more activity, there is an area to play volleyball, football, basketball and badminton.
All rooms have private bathrooms, some rooms have separable beds. There are no actual single rooms, so if you book one, this will be a double room for singular use.
We will dance on a smooth stone floor, but will lay a pvc, if it turns out to be difficult.

1240€ for 1 Person in a double room (960€ without classes)
1640€ for 1 person in a single room (1360€ without classes)
Prices include:
Room, full board, coffee/tee/water all day, 20 hours of tango lessons (depending on your package), minilongas on site
