With the many struggles LGBTQ+ people still face today, there are glimmers of hope coming from role models leading the charge. Part memior, part manifesto, Athlete is Agender explores the real life testimonials and experiences of professional athletes who are a part of a disparaged community and have chosen to embrace their true selves. In a discussion with Nicole Melleby and Katherine Locke, contributors A. J. Sass, Karina Manta, and em dickson will speak to the challenges they've overcome in their respective sports.
